Cynthia Söderbacka

Cynthia Söderbacka works as a Project Leader (RDI) at Novia University of Applied Sciences’ Faculty of Technology and Seafaring. Her project portfolio covers a wide range of sustainable energy solution topics, with topic specific expertise in renewable fuels such as biogas and Power-to-X and their value chains. She is passionate on learning the importance of understanding how different energy systems can synergize with each other to attain carbon neutrality.

Novia University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary and largest Swedish speaking university of applied sciences in Finland and has a well-established and renowned RDI organization with broad technical knowhow and predominantly EU-funded projects. The Faculty of Technology and Seafaring RDI department specializes in applied R&D-projects within emerging and sustainable technologies.
