Vaasa Climate Commitment is an initiative for organisations committed to setting sustainability goals and taking actionable steps towards a climate-positive future. Through the commitment, organisations aim to reduce their carbon footprint and work towards achieving clear sustainability targets. The Vaasa Climate Commitment project is creating a carbon neutrality ecosystem in Vaasa. This ecosystem will allow a more systematic involvement of RDI experts and students from higher education institutions in solving carbon neutrality development challenges for both the city and businesses in the region. At the same time, students will be better equipped to integrate permanently into the region’s labour market.
