Tuomas Rauhala, Senior Vice President, System Operations, Fingrid Oyj

Tuomas Rauhala is currently Senior Vice President responsible for System Operations at Fingrid Oyj. He has been working on the field of electrical transmission systems for 20+ years, most of the years at various expert and management positions at Fingrid incl. system engineering, network planning, asset management and market innovation. Tuomas has also been working as power system researcher at Tampere University and development project manager at Alstom Grid/GE FACTS unit at Tampere. He holds D.Sc. in Electrical Power System Engineering and was invited in 2019 to serve as Docent in the field of distributed resources in electrical energy systems at Tampere University.
