Piotr Rapacz

Team Leader, DG Environment, European Commission

Piotr holds a degree in International Relations from Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Since 2005, he has worked in European institutions, focusing on sustainable transport (railways and urban mobility) and green cities.

Since 2023, Piotr has led a team in the European Commission’s DG Environment, where he works on urban environmental initiatives and policy. This included the European Green Capital and Green Leaf Awards and the Green City Accord.
