Pieter Jan Jordaens

Pieter Jan Jordaens joined Sirris (the Belgian collective technology center) in 2010 to manage the Offshore Wind Infrastructure (OWI) project. The goal of this project was to set-up state-of-the-art R&D test and monitoring infrastructure in the field of offshore wind energy to support technology developments. Since then he has been responsible to initiate, set-up and roll-out the operations of the (offshore) wind energy RD&I department at Sirris and it’s supporting services in different roles. Currently he takes up the role of program manager Energy Transition which on top of on & offshore wind topics also covers RD&I projects linked to energy storage and green hydrogen.
