Kunle Oyenusi

A senior legal and regulatory expert with more than three decades of leadership experience in Nigeria’s power sector. He serves as Director of Legal Services and Project Manager at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), where he leads the implementation of a €50 million EU–AFD programme to modernise vocational power training, strengthen institutional capacity, and upgrade infrastructure across Nigeria’s electricity training centres.

His background spans energy law, sector reform, contract management, and large‑scale donor‑funded project delivery. Adekunle has played key roles in national power sector reforms, including the review of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act and multiple technical assistance initiatives on loss reduction, market development, and institutional governance. His expertise bridges regulation, capacity development, and practical energy‑sector transformation in Nigeria.
