James Watson

James Watson is the CEO of SolarPower Europe based in Brussels. He joined SolarPower Europe in 2014 after 7 years of working in the energy sector in Brussels with the Weber Shandwick consultancy. Prior to this he worked for the European Commission, and was posted in Africa for 2 years as an expert working with trade and sustainable development. Earlier in his career, James worked for various UK government bodies in London, and as a lecturer in Environmental Law at the University of Manchester. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels.
