Hans Koeppel

Hans Koeppel is currently Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Finland. Prior he was the Head of Unit dealing with the foreign policy aspects of the energy transition in the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, Germany. Previously, he worked on disarmament and non-proliferation issues. From 2002 until 2014, he was DHM at the Embassies of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Dominican Republic and Tanzania, as well as Deputy Head of Office in Lagos, Nigeria. He gained his Masters degree in political science from the University of Bonn, studying at the Ecole National d’Administration, Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grénoble and the St. Hugh’s College at the University of Oxford.
