Fredrik Ek

Fredrik Ek (Founder Xylo Gas, current CEO) With a background as hydropower entrepreneur (Fiskarsin Voima Oy) and energy consultant in the farming sector Fredrik is today responsible for product development, marketing, calculations & improvement as well as testing and prototyping Xylo Gas technologies. Fredrik has developed the core technology of the Xylo Gas gasifiers since the early 2000s. Fredrik has a MSc in Natural Sciences from University of Helsinki, Finland. A background as energy consultant and organizer of more than 40 energy-related study trips for farmers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers mainly to central Europe has helped to create a wide network both nationally and internationally and brought a lot of knowledge in the wide field of bioenergy and the technologies used for its utilization. Many companies make biochar or wood gas from wood. We produce both high quality biochar and clean syngas.
