Dr David Hodgson

As a Sector Specialist David has worked with the Department for International Trade since 2009 and now focuses his efforts to support companies seeking to invest in the UK’s dynamic energy and cleantech sectors, with particular focus on the Northern Powerhouse.

David has been developing and commercializing materials and technologies for over 30 years working initially in large companies and then start-up ventures in CTO, CEO and NXD positions. David has a PhD in electrochemistry and continues to work with a number of academic groups to support and encourage the exploitation of research.
