Cea Mittler

She is a big believer in cross-disciplinary approaches and finds great pleasure in exploring new concepts and ideas. Prior to joining Bird & Bird Attorneys Ltd. as a Senior Associate in the company’s Energy & Utilities Group, she headed the legal function at the Finnish gas transmission system operator, directing corporate legal affairs while shaping policy connected to the gas transmission business. Furthermore, she has worked with the Balticconnector pipeline project, the largest EU funded energy project at the time. She has published articles and given keynotes on topics related to the future hydrogen regulation, LNG, unbundling of gas markets, advancement of energy infrastructure, and legal barriers to a circular economy.

Cea holds an LL.M. in EU Energy Law from University of Helsinki and is an LL.M. candidate at National University of Singapore, Maritime Law Programme.
