Bas Kruimer

Bas is Director & Practice Lead IT-OT Integration at TRC Intelligent Grid Solutions and cyber secure system architectures, system integration and interoperability strategy and solutions. He studied power engineering at Delft University of Technology originally and has worked in the digitalization of electrical energy systems since 1990 at that time joining ABB in Substation Automation, Network Control & Protection. He has worked for different international engineering & consulting companies over the years in digital grid operations, smart metering and cyber security, also having worked for Distribution Network Operator Stedin in The Netherlands. One day per week Bas is a Fellow at Delft University of Technology in the department IEPG Intelligent Electrical Power Grids and CROF Control Room of the Future & Cyber Resilience supporting graduate students and research projects.
