André Craens has an educational background in engineering, economics, and a university MBA. His experiences are diverse and include working as an expat, strategic management consultant (incl. energy and grid companies) and business owner of an enterprise with 10 employees. In his hometown he contributed to successful cooperative local ownership of two wind turbines. Currently André is working at the Netherlands Wind Energy Association (NWEA), the industry association for wind in the Netherlands. He is specifically working on the deployment of offshore wind in the Netherlands.
