Russia's energy leverage in Europe and how to prevent it

The presentation describes how Russia has used energy as a lever to disrupt European unity as part of its geopolitical and geoeconomic strategies. With the lessons of recent history, it is possible to build a European strategy that both limits Russia’s ability to finance its war economy and denies Russia’s future attempts to influence Europe.

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for Wind Power Station

This presentation is summary of the GenerIoT -project (Generating and Deploying Lightweight, Secure and Zero-overhead Software for Multipurpose IoT Devices) which studied use case Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for wind power stations, among others. In this study results of the research work are presented. Main points are: Structural Aging of Wind Turbines, Aging Management of Wind Turbine Structures, Systems and Components (SSC), Framework for early prediction of damage in Wind Turbines by utilising AI based SCADA data processing with neural networks.
