Eugene Chandi
A Zambian energy economist with extensive experience in rural electrification, project implementation, and economic analysis within the public energy sector.
As a Senior Economist at the Rural Electrification Authority of Zambia, he contributes to national planning, financial modelling, and the development of large-scale electrification programmes, including World Bank–supported initiatives.
His work spans economic evaluation, policy support, and the design of credit lines and investment frameworks that enable sustainable energy access. With an MBA and a strong grounding in development economics, he brings a data-driven, systems-level perspective to energy planning and is committed to advancing inclusive, long-term electrification across Zambia.
