Mika Kallio

Mika Kallio is one of the founder’s of the renewable biogas energy company Gas1 Oy and works as managing director of the company.

Gas1 Oy is a new biogas company with biogas experience from One1 Oy. Mika and his partners did a MBO of biogas division from One1 in 2024. Gas1 is developing and building biogas ecosytems.

He was also the founder of renewable energy company One1 in 2010. Company focusesrenewable energy solutions and energy efficient projects. Company is nowadays owned by Lahti Energia Oy and Pori Energia Oy.

Mika holds a master’s degree in technology and MBA. After studies he worked as a project manager in power plant and recovery plant environments and before founding One1 Oy he worked in different financial positions for E.ON Finland Oy and hold CFO positions in other Finnish companies. 

Studies from technology and finance besides work experience from both fields has given Mika an excellent overall understanding how to build new biogas ecosystems in the growing biogas environment.
