Lars Birging

Since his studies in Industrial engineering and management (Msc) at Linköping University of Technology in the second half of 1980, Lars has had a strong interest in the environment. After 15 years of international work within Ericsson and Saab technology, he shifted to a “start-up” focus with IoT applications always including the environmental perspective as an important part. Today, together with his three co-founders, he runs ZIGRID – Zero Impact Grid – which produces electricity from wasted heat at uniquely low temperatures, for example from the process industry.
