D.Sc. (Tech.) in Information Systems, M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering, and M.Eng. in Project Management. ROBOCOAST Expert and Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in cybersecurity and safeguarding the energy sector at the School of Technology and Innovations, University of Vaasa.

Project researcher at the University of Vaasa’s School of Technology and Innovations, specializes in cybersecurity and resilience in the energy sector. He’s been involved in several key projects like REDISET, EUNICE, and SESP, and has taught courses in Management of Cybersecurity and Enterprise Architectures. Currently, he’s completing his PhD in Information Systems, focusing on privacy protection in cyberspace, particularly in the energy sector. Bahaa holds a M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering, a M.Eng. in Project Management, and a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering.

Bahaa Eltahawy is a researcher at the University of Vaasa and project expert at Robocoast. He has contributed to over 10 research projects focused on cybersecurity, energy sector resilience, and digital transformation. Bahaa has taught several academic courses, and his own research centers on advancing cyberprivacy practices, enhancing human engagement, and addressing skill gaps through upskilling and building knowledge.
