- Circular economy
From trash to treasure
Tuesday 17.3
How can companies benefit from someone else’s side stream? Can someone’s waste be valuable for someone else?
At From Trash to Treasure, we invite manufacturing companies to showcase their innovative approaches towards sustainable resource management. The focus is on unveiling the hidden potential within side stream materials – turning waste into valuable resources. This event is your platform to share, collaborate, and discover opportunities to reduce environmental impact while boosting your bottom line.
Join an array of forward-thinking manufacturing companies committed to transforming waste materials into assets. By presenting your side stream materials, you can establish valuable connections with companies seeking alternative, eco-friendly sources for their production processes. Together, we can create a thriving ecosystem where nothing goes to waste!

Minimossen
Minimossen is a recycling mall in Isolahti in Vaasa., which is run by small business owners together with the region’s waste management company, Stormossen. Minimossen is a pioneer in reuse and recycling, and when we first opened our doors in November 2019, we were the first and only recycling mall of its kind in Finland.
Today, Minimossen has become a natural part of the everyday way people in Vaasa both recycle their belongings and shop second-hand. We offer a wide range of everyday goods – like a department store.
NGR Group – Nordic Green Recycling
NGR demonstrates how local material flows can be managed efficiently through reception, handling, and logistics—and become a functioning part of the circular economy. We focus on the operational step between waste and actual recycling.
SF-BioVac
The project SF-BioVac promotes circular economy by using Finnish know-how in an Zambian setting, and can give ideas on how to have a creative mindset when it comes to circular solutions.
Trineria
We connect manufacturing systems and make production data usable across company boundaries, enabling traceability and quality verification for circular material flows.
