The global circularity rate is only 7,2% in 2023, trending downward from the previous years.

In order to turn the trend, the world economy needs to become circular at the same time as business models and business growth indicators will change towards more sustainable ones.

The future economy needs to be circular, otherwise there is no future for the economy. Circular economy is not possible without collaborations and synergies within different stakeholders.

In this seminar, different circular economy clusters from Europe will be presented. Let’s have a look on what Jakobstad region has done within circularity, and what kind of clusters there are in Denmark and The Netherlands.
